ABOUT
I’m Alma Langshaw, a Spanish/English director, producer, and writer based in Miami. Growing up across nine countries as a third-culture kid, I learned to adapt quickly, pack a suitcase in under ten minutes and that storytelling is my favorite means of connection. This inspired my desire to create and share stories about identity, belonging, and human connection.
I have assistant directed and assisted produced on feature films such as The Old Man and the Parrot (2026) and Know Me (2025), which premiered at Slamdance Film Festival. I have also produced short films, such as The Cherry Picker (2025), that went on to win awards at the South Beach Film Festival. Moreover, last year I had the opportunity to assistant direct many high-profile commercials for brands like Puma, Celsius, SheaMoisture, Adidas, FIFA, as well as a global campaign with one of my favorite musical artists, Rosalía.
Community is central to my work, and being part of the Miami-based film collective White Elephant Group since 2023 has helped strengthen and expand my creative network.
I’m drawn to collaborative environments where vision, structure, and creativity can coexist. On set, I bring clarity, warmth, and a steady problem-solving mindset. At heart, I love making meaningful work with good humans.
