Alma Langshaw is a Spanish/English director, producer, and assistant director based in Miami. Growing up across nine countries as a third-culture kid shaped her desire to create and share stories centered on identity, belonging, and human connection.

She has assistant directed feature films including The Old Man and the Parrot (2026), winner of the Miami Film Festival’s Made in MIA Feature Film Award, Fears (2025), and Wastelands (currently in post-production). She also served as a producer’s assistant on Know Me (2025), which premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival.

 

In addition to her feature work, she produced the short film The Cherry Picker (2025), which won two awards at the South Beach Film Festival. Her commercial experience includes assistant directing high-profile campaigns for brands such as Puma, Celsius, SheaMoisture, Adidas, and FIFA, as well as a global campaign with musical artist Rosalía.

She is drawn to collaborative environments where vision, structure, and creativity can coexist. Since 2023, she has been part of the Miami-based film collective White Elephant Group. On set, she brings clarity, warmth, and a steady, solutions-oriented mindset. At her core, she is passionate about creating meaningful work alongside good people.
